Content Bolgheri

From Livorno, through Collesalvetti, Rosignano, Montescudaio, Guardistallo, Bibbona and Casale, winds the Wine and Oil Road of the Etruscan Coast which, passing through Castagneto and San Vincenzo, reaches Sassetta, Monteverdi, Campiglia and Suvereto, in the extreme south of the province of Livorno.
From San Guido, through the avenue of cirpessi made immortal by the rhymes of Carducci, we reach Bolgheri, a delightful medieval village in the heart of the consortium.
Not far away, Castagneto Carducci, an enchanting village of Etruscan origin overlooking a panorama that extends from the olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean macchai woods to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago.

The cypresses that in Bólgheri tall and straightforward Van da San Guido in double rows, almost running, giant youths jumped to meet me and look at me.

It is from here, from the characteristic rural landscapes of Tuscany that the routes of the Costa degli Etruschi Wine and Oil Road branch off, the noble land from which Sassicaia is born, a symbol of Tuscan wine excellence: places where, among farms, cellars and taverns it is now possible to taste the best recipes of the local culinary tradition, the wide choice of red, white and passito wines, with a refined and unmistakable taste.
